Founder Jack Lowderman
has been an instrumental promoter of the Auction Method
of Marketing. Many midwesterners may remember Jack's father, Wayne
Lowderman,
now passed on; a reputable and successful auctioneer as well. Jack's
wife Sherrys' grandfather was Chet Jennings who built, owned and
operated Jennings Sale Barn, which was the largest sale barn in
Illinois. Jack was the
first to establish an on-site auction facility in the midwest,
conducting
sales weekly, and hosting special Auction Information Seminars yearly
in
Macomb.

Each play a vital role in planning, preparing, promoting and conducting each auction. Phase I of the Lowderman Auction Facility and Indoor Sales Pavilion has been completed. This climate controlled indoor facility offers 3 display rooms, handicapped accessible bathrooms and parking, level cement floor suitable for wheelchair and walker ease with no stairs, and a center sales pavilion. Situated on 35 acres this facility offers plenty of room for machinery, equipment and vehicle display, as well as generous off road parking. Specialty Auctions are hosted throughout the year, along with a monthly "Open to the World" Consignment Auction. This facility is available for qualified groups and organizations for special events and meetings. "We felt a need for a modern facility such as this." Jack Lowderman stated upon opening the facility. In the very recent past,
